Cambodian Discovery of Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.

Day 1

Kuala Lumpur - Phnom Penh

Assemble 3 hours before departure time at KLIA and ready to depart to Phnom Penh. Arrive in Phnom Penh and meet & greet with the tour representative and transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch at local restaurant and visit to independent Monument, Parliament House, Buddhist Institute, Koh Pich, Mekong River Bank. Dinner and overnight in the city.

Day 2

Phnom Penh

After breakfast, visit to Killing Field and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Transfer for lunch at local restaurant. Continue tour to Royal Palace and National Museum. Dinner and free at leisure during night. Overnight in the city.

Day 3

Phnom Penh

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to visit and shopping at Central Market and Russian Market. Lunch in between tour at local restaurant. Continue journey to Mekong River (2 hours cruise on the river). Dinner and transfer back to hotel.

Day 4

Phnom Penh - Kuala Lumpur
